ROCHESTER, MI--- The International Hockey League (IHL) announced Tuesday that Muskegon center Todd Robinson has been named the Meijer IHL Player of the Month, Flint forward John Mori has been named the Meijer IHL Rookie of the Month and Fort Wayne goaltender Tim Haun has been named the Meijer IHL Goaltender of the Month for the month of February.

ROCHESTER, MI--- The International Hockey League (IHL) announced Monday that Port Huron center Nick Lindberg has been named the IHL Player of the Week, Port Huron left wing Mickael Bedard has been named the IHL Rookie of the Week and Flint goaltender Sergei Zvyagin has been named the IHL Goaltender of the Week for the period ending Sunday, March 7th, 2010.

ROCHESTER, MI--- The Flint Generals have been on a roll as of late, going 2-1-0-0 during Week 21 of the 2009-10 season, earning both wins against the third-place Fort Wayne Komets. Saturday, the Generals snapped the Komets six-game win streak with a 3-1 win at Perani Arena. Flint wrapped up the home-and-home series with Fort Wayne with a 3-2 win Sunday in Fort Wayne, where the Generals had not won a game in regulation yet this season. Flint goaltender Sergei Zvyagin earned his first victory of the season after joining Flint on February 27th. Zvyagin made a league-high 54 saves while the Komets peppered him with a league-high 56 shots on goal to earn his first victory as a member of the Generals.

ROCHESTER, MI--- The International Hockey League (IHL) announced Monday that Muskegon center Brian Bicek has been named the IHL Player of the Week, Quad City right wing Brandon Marino has been named the IHL Rookie of the Week and Quad City goaltender Kyle Jones has been named the IHL Goaltender of the Week for the period ending Sunday, February 28th, 2010.
 

ROCHESTER, MI--- Bloomington continues to lead the league in shorthanded goals with 13, putting the pressure on the opposition during their man-advantages. Forward Zach Pearson leads the PrairieThunder in shorthanded goals, notching in his fourth Wednesday against Dayton. Forward Matt McIlvane notched in his second shorthanded tally Sunday against Quad City. Last season, Flint had scored the most shorthanded goals, scoring 18. Pearson was a member of that team, scoring six during the 08-09 season as a member of the Generals.
